My husband, Robert, and I live in Chesterton Indiana which is located about a 50 min. drive from downtown Chicago. We have six beautiful acres where all my goldens can run and play. My show career started over 25 years ago when my husband and I showed Abyssinian and Egyptian Mau cats. I loved showing but wanted to show dogs instead. I showed my first dog, a Doberman Pincher, in obedience trials, where I first met and fell in love with the Golden Retriever. I have competed in obedience and agility trials and have been actively showing in conformation for the last twenty three years. The Golden Retriever is such a special dog with such a giving and loving nature that it still takes my breath away.
We have produced some wonderful conformation champions as well as obedience and agility champions. My dogs have excelled in therapy work and have helped with the disabled. All my dogs have their health clearances hips, eyes, heart, and elbows. I am also an active member with the Golden Retriever Club of America as well as the Golden Retriever Club of Illinois
My passions also goes to horses which we own 3, 11 peacocks , 2 fallow deer and a flying squirrel which we rescued.
I am active in wildlife rescue and rehab work and enjoy all kinds of animals.
